About this painting
While working on this piece I felt that I was looking into some other dimension at these cows. As if they were momentarily existing somewhere else. Resting by a body of water, totally relaxed. My sense is that the cow on the right seems to know we’re there with her, peeking into their realm. But she’s entirely unfazed.
