About this painting
This was inspired by the concept of turning inward—tapping into our intuition and instincts to guide us. Which is something I’m continuously working on. The stag and starlings are set within a surreal lakeside landscape, in a space between waking life and dreaming. The deer’s closed eyes symbolize the act of looking inward, listening for guidance, while the starlings represent insights that can arise.
