"The vet, in turn, called The Lange Foundation, a rescue organization in West Los Angeles, who were
happy to take him. And somewhere along this path, someone named this geeky looking puppy "Elvis".
Had they only known how this little dog would fill the shoes of his namesake.
Elvis entered the sport world of dog agility when he was about a year old. At only his second
agility trial, he qualified to go to the USDAA (United States Dog Agility Association) Nationals.
He competed in the USDAA Nationals in 2002 and 2003 held in Irving, Texas and has qualified to
attend the Nationals of 2004, being held in November in Scottsdale, Arizona. He has been featured on
two segments of "Life Moments", a daytime show which aired on NBC. He was picked
from hundreds of dogs to compete with 9 other dogs for the title of "America's Top Dog".
He won, and wears the title proudly. He reminds us every single day of just how very important he is."
