California artist Aimée Hoover's custom pet portraits have been featured in prominent dog culture magazines including Bark Magazine and
Modern Dog. Her work was recognized internationally by Australia's Urban Animal when she was chosen
as one of the top ten pet portrait artists from around the world. In 2004, a custom pet portrait by Aimée was also awarded to the winner of the A&E
channel's Amercia's Top Dog.
Aimée's pet portraits hang in the homes of pet owners all across the country, from California to Texas to New York. Even Canada.
And after a decade of honoring the lives of four-legged family members,
she approaches her 100th portrait in 2008.
When she is not in the studio, Aimée enjoys stopping the owner of every single dog that passes to pet their canine friend. And some cats that can spare the time.
She dedicates this site to beloved pets everywhere, who have come in and out of our lives, improving it for the duration of their stay.
