Win-Win
If you’ve entered one of my free 140 minute custom portrait give aways on twitter, you may be familiar with one of the rules of winning: you agree to “pay the freebie forward” by doing something nice for someone (or something) else.
Cute as a muppet Maddie won September’s free twitter portrait contest. And Mitzi, Maddie’s owner, is doing something truly great for a lot of somethings: she’s generously donating a percentage of all October sales from her website www.e-corporategifts.com to the ASPCA. How generous is that? Yay, Mitzi! And this is even before she’s received her portrait.
So if you are in the market for a, say, a cool eco-friendly bamboo pen cup or some holiday presents for the office (that you needed to buy anyway), please consider buying them through her website. You’ll be helping animals in need and getting a good deal to boot.
And speaking of little miss muppet Maddie, you may be wondering where the heck her portrait is. I mean, she won back in September for Pete’s sake and there’s been a whole other contest already! Good question. Maddie is actually on my easel as a type:

Like a cuter, furrier, mini Santa.
She’ll be finished very soon and posted immediately after so stay tuned.
Thanks to Mitzi for such a fantastic “pay it forward” idea and thanks to you, as always, for reading.

Here’s where I say you can actually hire me to paint you pooch, yaddah yaddah yadda and ask you visit my website: www.aimeehoover.com.

Yay… Yahooieeeee…. We are so excited! I can already see you captured her eyes! OMG…WOW!!!!!!!!
Hi Mitzi! Well, I’ll take “Yahooieeeee” any day. ; ) Glad you like it so far. 2 hours and 12 minutes to go…
I am so excited to see how this turns out!!! She is so cute!!!
It’s neat to see the before, can’t wait to see the after.
What a neat pay it forward. Going by e corporate gifts now to see what they have.
Miss Maddie aka:Wiggles is my favorite puppy in life! Possibly prints could be made for the family??? The proceeds could go to Maddies donations to the APSPCA?
I”m so proud of her and what an incredibe artist! You’ve totally captured her without the wiggle! Rare indeed!
